Notchback to Fastback!

The trouble began here.
The exhaust manifold on the GT was totally cracked, and sounded like a stock-car. The main problem was that it was burning oil so heavily that there was a cloud of blue smoke behind us, and also in the passenger compartment. Someone had cut a small hole in the firewall to try repairing the cracked manifold, so smoke was pouring into the car.
